There are SEVERAL glaring problems in Bioshock infinite that I wish they would have solved. A new one too! I can have multiple plasmids, but only TWO guns! WTF that was something from the multiplayer that did NOT need to carry over to the normal game! Do you know how bullshit it is when I need to scour the map for ten minutes looking for an RPG b/c i need it but can only carry a shotgun and a sniper?! do you KNOW what a bad idea that was 2K?! Almost as bad an idea as it was to make it so that you can't carry and use health items. as soon as you pick them up you use them, whether its food or actual health kits. It's horrendous. I like the shield system in this game though, one of the few good ideas they've had. Also making Elizabeth an invulnerable item finder was a good idea too. (I REALLY hope she's not Booker's daughter...)
And oh my god the mother of all bad ideas, the auto save function. Holy SHIT, who came up with this?! Silent Hill Downpour, although it wasn't a great game it had a GOOD auto save function b/c it would auto save every five seconds, that's how you need it to behave. In Bioshock Infinite it auto saves every twenty minutes! I had to replay a few instances three times over b/c i could not save the game myself! Never NEVER go with an auto save function! Manual saving is ALWAYS better! Or better yet, why cant' they imitate what Skyrim did and have an auto + manual save system? That's the best. But NOOOO I've got this shitty exclusively auto save that saves every 20-30 minutes and never when I need it to.
At least the story is good and the scenery is lovely. And the voice acting is terrific. So it's not a COMPLETE fuck up, but there are some major problems that I'm surprised they're still making.
